Film-maker, comedian, writer, producer, actor, and presenter, is there anything Danny Wallace can’t do? From an idea to a fun escapade, then a book and a film, Danny’s life has been one adventure after the other, filled with twists, turns and enough stories to fill ten books, literally! Starting his media career reviewing video games for Sega Power Magazine aged just thirteen, by the end of school Danny was the associate editor at the Comedy Review, before going to the University of Westminster enrolled in media studies. A decision that set him up for a promising future, Danny went on to become a producer for the BBC. Producing the likes of Dead Ringers and The Mighty Boosh, Danny’s creativity helped excel his career.

As a presenter, Danny Wallace has appeared on ‘He’s having a Baby’ with Davina Mccall, ‘Test the Nation’ and BBC’s ‘Castaway’ in addition to his hugely popular Radio X show known as ‘The Important Broadcast’. Most recently, Danny has produced a podcast titled ‘F*** You Very Much’ which has also been released as a humorous book. Having had an eclectic career there aren’t many roles Danny hasn’t taken on, from voicing the Assasins Creed game and becoming an award-winning GQ contributing editor to having his own show commissioned by the BBC and becoming a best seller with his novel ‘Charlotte Street.’

To date, Danny has published ten books ranging from nonfiction semi-autobiographical content to epic novels, his first publication came in 2002 after accidentally starting a cult. In a story that sounds too ridiculous to be true, Danny inadvertently gets people to ‘Join Me’. The idea spirals and the rest is history, now detailed in a hilarious book and subsequent film. Only a year later in 2003, Danny decided to agree to any opportunity that came his way. As expected this led Danny on a wild adventure, which he wrote about, much to the delight of his fans, and Warner Bros who commission ‘Yes Man’ the film.

A speaker who is never without a topic, Danny Wallace’s vast career makes for a thrilling after-dinner speech. His bold personality and quick wit lends its self to hosting events and having appeared in so many areas of the media, Danny is a well-recognised face amongst audiences.
