Energy expert and sustainability speaker, Crispin Matson is an experienced engineer and technological developer whose work in the energy sector is working towards developing a carbon-free UK energy industry. As director of Ramboll Energy UK Crispin leads the company’s development of renewable energy projects across the UK and Ireland.
With experience developing projects ranging from biomass and gas generation, solar energy, geothermal energy and onshore wind farms Crispin Matson’s understanding of Britain’s renewable energy industry is vast. His work as a sustainability speaker has covered the development and installation of large-scale but efficient energy as well as the production of renewable sources of district heating and CHP.
A passionate environmentalist Crispin Matson is leading the way on the development of renewable energy sources; by combining his personal passion with a strong business acumen Matson has devised a number of strategic designs and project outcomes that have directly encouraged expansion within the UK sustainable energy sector.
His work as a sustainability speaker to both the corporate clients of Ramboll Energy UK as well as on the after dinner speaker circuit has helped a variety of British businesses instigate change in their energy consumption and use power in both a financially and environmentally sustainable fashion. Outside his work as an after dinner speaker Crispin Matson is also actively involved in scientific and policy developments within the energy sector, he is a member of the ICE London Energy Panel as well as a director of a wind-farm co-op.
Boasting more than twenty five years’ in the energy industry, Crispin Matson’s experience as both an engineer and scientist has helped to foster a strong awareness of climate change and environmental issues. His work as a keynote speaker is therefore not only informed by his intellectual and business background but by his own experience of the energy industry.
