Christina Mackay-Nowell

Christina Mackay-Nowell is a leading keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, strategic adviser and Managing Director of Venture6, who helps organisations address the human challenges affecting business performance. With almost two decades of experience across investment, entrepreneurship and management consulting, Christina brings considerable commercial experience to the stage. One of her defining career achievements was spending seven and a half years at EY, where she worked with senior business leaders internationally and led content for the prestigious World Entrepreneur Of The Year programme, reaching more than 2,000 CEOs.

Christina began her career after graduating with an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Birmingham, before completing a CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting and joining EY as a Management Consultant in 2008. Her projects included developing strategic sales and marketing plans that supported £300 million in revenue growth and working as Change Manager on a major IT transformation programme within a UK government department. Christina later completed an MBA in Entrepreneurship at Cambridge Judge Business School, followed by an MA in International Law with Distinction from the University of Kent. Her continued professional development includes Strategic Negotiation Executive Education at Harvard Business School, Artificial Intelligence Executive Education at the University of Oxford and Mastering Strategic Negotiations at HEC Paris.

During her time at EY, Christina became closely involved with initiatives supporting entrepreneurs and senior executives. As Project Manager for World Entrepreneur Of The Year, she created content delivered to more than 2,000 CEOs and established and led Accelerating Entrepreneurs, coaching a cohort selected from 500 international applicants on scaling businesses internationally. Christina also contributed to a Women in Leadership Summit for 100 CEOs, supporting discussions on board diversity and gender equality. She later became Founder and Managing Partner of InEn Global, creating an investment platform connecting investors, entrepreneurs and advisers, before serving as CEO of Kent Investors Network, an angel investment group supporting early stage businesses. Today, as Managing Director of Venture6, Christina advises private investors, founders and organisations across Western Europe on portfolio strategy, negotiation, due diligence, relationship management, international expansion and growth.

As a keynote speaker, Christina combines research with first-hand experience to address leadership, management, negotiation, resilience, entrepreneurship and organisational change. Drawing on research from Gallup, McKinsey, Google and Harvard alongside her experience advising founders, investors and leadership teams, Christina gives audiences practical ideas they can take back into their organisations.
