Charlotte Hawkins, anchor on ITV's breakfast show ‘Good Morning Britain’, presenter, broadcaster and Classic FM host. Hawkins has appeared on a range of other TV shows including Celebrity Juice, Britain’s Got More Talent, Pointless and Tipping Point, ITV Racing on major race days. Before joining ITV, Hawkins worked at Sky News for seven years on Sunrise with Eamonn Holmes.
She also hosted ‘Sky News at 9am with Charlotte Hawkins’, her own daily show of breaking news and interviews. Hawkins anchored Sunrise live at the Olympics and presented coverage of the Diamond Jubilee and Royal Wedding. She also hosted Sky’s BAFTA’s show and presented live from LA on the Oscars red carpet. Charlotte has interviewed not only several prominent politicians over the years, but also top celebrity names such as David Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John.
Charlotte recently featured as a presenter in the film ‘Burnt’ with Bradley Cooper and also made guest appearances as a newscaster for both Diversity and The Wanted on their tours. Every year Hawkins appears in cinemas around the world hosting broadcasts of Andre Rieu concerts and she also presented a documentary for Sky Arts called ‘Andre Rieu: Behind the Music.’
This year Hawkins has joined the Classic FM team, where she’ll have a weekly show on the UK’s most popular classical music station. She will be playing all the classics as well as new discoveries and young talent. Charlotte supports several charities and is Patron of Motor Neurone Disease Association after her father died from the disease in 2015. She is also Patron of the children’s charity Ellenor Hospice and is a supporter of the Dogs Trust due to her rescue dog Bailey.
