Alastair Gill is a seasoned HR specialist, formerly the Head of People at giffgaff. Now he is the founder of Alchemy Labs, a distinguished leadership, culture, and growth agency which helps organisations and leaders to grow by offering ground-breaking HR strategies. Establishing himself as a leading HR expert, Alastair now shares his award-winning HR strategies for creating more engaged and driven employees to achieve superior business outcomes in his speaking sessions.

After completing a degree in Illustration at Birmingham City University, Alastair gained a master’s degree in Human Resource Management at Buckinghamshire New University. He then joined Swindale Parks Recruitment as a Sales Recruiter before landing the role of Senior Recruiter at the London Borough of Hillingdon, followed by a promotion to the role of Senior HR Advisor. In 2015 Alastair became Head of People at giffgaff, where he demonstrated exceptional HR acumen, transforming culture, engagement, inclusion, and people developed at the company to achieve higher levels of employee engagement and better business outcomes.

For his outstanding HR work, he has been featured in HR Magazines Most Influential list and was shortlisted for the HR director of the Year Award.
