"Thrilled to have moderated the panel discussion “What Are We Looking For? Market Insights & Future-Proofing Business Talent”; a timely conversation on how businesses, and young professionals can better prepare for a rapidly evolving job market. Some key takeaways from the discussion:
• Employers today value adaptability, ethics, leadership, coachability, a results-oriented mindset, and a strong willingness to learn
• AI and technological transformation are rapidly reshaping business operations and the future of work
• Those who adapt early to AI-driven change will be best positioned to seize new opportunities
• Career growth is no longer linear: continuous learning and reinvention > static knowledge

It was inspiring to hear the perspectives and experiences shared by our distinguished speakers." - Farida, Economist, Monetary Policy Sector, The Central Bank of Egypt

"Distribution in emerging markets has historically been constrained by cost structures rather than demand. During a recent discussion, Fadi Abi-Nader described how traditional retail expansion often fails to scale efficiently across fragmented or lower-density regions. The economics of physical coverage do not justify the investment required to reach all potential consumers. “For big companies to cover all these stores, the cost doesn’t justify the return.” On-demand delivery introduces a different model. Instead of expanding physical presence, companies can centralize inventory and rely on high-speed delivery networks to reach consumers across both urban and rural areas. In some markets, this infrastructure is already operating at a level of efficiency that significantly alters access. “In India you can get products in seven to eight minutes.” The consequence is a shift in how availability is defined. Products that were previously inaccessible due to distribution limitations can now reach consumers without requiring local retail presence. The barrier moves from physical infrastructure to network capability." - EVOLVE Commerce Club
