As resident DJ for the legendary Twice as Nice club brand for seven years, he helped define one of Britain's biggest garage and R&B nights while mixing and compiling three gold-selling compilation albums. His success continued internationally with more than a decade of residencies in Ibiza and Ayia Napa, where Dreem Teem enjoyed Top 40 chart success with 'Dreem Teem Theme' and 'Buddy X'. Regular appearances at world-famous venues including Pacha, Eden and Es Paradis saw him consistently perform to packed crowds, while Radio 1's broadcasts from Ayia Napa became landmark moments for dance music fans.

Dreem Teem earned a prestigious Sony Award, recognising their impact on UK radio, while Spoony later hosted Radio 1's Weekend Breakfast show before becoming the presenter of BBC Radio 2's popular show The Good Groove. In recognition of his charitable fundraising through music during the COVID-19 pandemic, he was awarded the British Empire Medal in the 2023 New Year Honours.
