Aliza Ayaz is a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, climate activist, sustainability consultant, and entrepreneur. With a career spanning ESG strategy, ambassadorship, and healthcare equity, Aliza is an experienced and educated authority in climate and public policy as an advisor to the UK Government, financial service firms, and other FTSE100 companies.
During her time at University College London, Aliza laid the foundations for her influential career by founding the Climate Action Society after recognising the lack of student interest in climate change. Through empowering Gen Z to drive real environmental change, Aliza has grown the group to be the only society worldwide to become involved in parliamentary lobbying. As a result, Aliza then served as a Student Advocate for Health and Environment within the UK House of Lords, advising on health and environment issues from a youth and citizen perspective. In 2020, Aliza became a Legal Board Member and Executive Chairperson for the Climate Action Society, whilst also taking on a Management and Research Role within the UK Government’s Green Homes Grant Scheme. In 2020, she was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador and Outsourcing Consultant for the United Nations, underscoring her commitment to climate action. Since 2022, she has been a Patron for the Ayaz Rana Foundation, a charity that supports climate-linked healthcare access in underserved regions, as well as a UN-Habitat Ambassador. Joining TORI Global as a business consultant, Aliza has served in a multitude of roles, including Technical Delivery Team Manager, Quality Assurance Specialist, and Senior Consultant, where she specialises in offering financial service management with her expertise in banking, insurance and wealth management. Since 2025, she has acted as an Ambassador for The Hunger Project and Co-Founder of Plan8 Packages.
Her incredible career has led to a multitude of accolades and honours, including being awarded the UM Youth Award for Outstanding Commitment to Sustainability. Aliza has also been featured across a range of media outlets, from the BBC, CNN and Sky News to Vogue Arabia and The Pakistan Daily, which listed her among their 30 under 30 list.
A visionary figurehead operating at the intersection of climate policy and healthcare, Aliza has spoken at more than 300 events, such as COP26, The Economist Sustainability Week, and Cannes Film Festival. She has delivered keynotes for various high-profile organisations, from the World Bank to the Royal College of Pharmacists, as well as a TEDx Talk, 'Voices of Action', discussing environmental issues, public health systems, sustainability, South Asian Identity and women in leadership. A truly inspirational individual, Aliza is the perfect addition to a range of events for her ability to connect with audiences across differing age groups and sectors.
