Peter Diamandis is an international pioneer in innovation, incentive competitions and commercial space. His personal motto, ‘the best way to predict the future is to create it yourself’ reflects his enthusiasm for the advancement of technology and breakthroughs that benefit humanity.

Peter is the Founder and Chairman of XPRIZE Foundation, that designs and launches incentive prizes to drive radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity and is best known for its $10million Ansari XPRIZE for private space flight. He is also the Co-founder and Vice-Chairman of Human Longevity Inc., (HLI), that focuses on extending the healthy human lifespan with genomics and cell therapy-based diagnostics and therapeutics. He also co-founded and is the executive chairman of Singularity University, a graduate-level Silicon Valley based institution that studies exponentially growing technologies, and their abilities to transform industries and solve humanity’s big challenges. Peter is also the co-founder and co-chairman of Planetary Resources, that designs spacecraft that facilitates the detection and prosperity of asteroids for precious materials, as well as being the co-founder of Space Adventures and Zero-Gravity Corporation.

Having got his undergraduate degree in Molecular Genetics, Peter got his post-graduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from MIT and his M.D. from Harvard Medical School. Since then, he has definitely made his impact on the world, ranking amongst Fortune Magazine’s ‘The World’s 50 Greatest Leaders’ in 2014. The Greek American pioneer was also honoured by the Greek government in 2016, as they issued a 1.2 Euro stamp into circulation.

Peter is also a New York Times best-selling author with his two books, ‘Abundance: The Future is Better Than You Think’ and ‘BOLD: How to go Big, Create Wealth and Impact the World’. He has also had his biography and the story of the XPRIZE written about in a book by Julie Guthrie, ‘How to Make a Spaceship: A Band of Renegades, an Epic Race and the Birth of Private Spaceflight’, which included a foreword by Richard Branson and an afterword by Professor Stephen Hawking.
