Trewin Restorick

Charity CEO, environment expert and sustainability speaker Trewin Restorick is the CEO of Global Action Plan, an international environmental charity, who strive to reduce carbon emissions, energy consumption and waste in the business world. Launching Global Action Plan in 1993 Trewin Restorick has been working as an environment and sustainability speaker for more than twenty years, his work has helped corporate companies, schools, public sector organisations and community groups to significantly reduce their carbon footprint and work towards a cleaner more sustainable future.

As well as his substantial work with Global Action Plan, Trewin Restorick is also Chair of the Environmental IT Leadership Team (EILT) as well as part of Defra’s Third Sector Advisory Board. He has acted as a sustainability speaker and trustee for Sustainability and Environmental Education and co-chaired Defra’s Compact Group. He is frequently called upon to act as a keynote speaker at conferences, his expertise and experience in the environment sector almost unrivalled in the UK.

As well as working as a keynote speaker, conference chair and activist Restorick has made numerous appearances in both the British and international media, commentating on environmental issues for Channel 4 News, Sky News, the BBC and CNN.

His work in the environment sector caught the attention of American environment activist Al Gore and Trewin Restorick has since appeared at a number of after dinner speaker and activist events as one of Gore’s UK Climate Change ambassadors.
