Adriaan Kamp

Leading keynote speaker, business executive and start-up entrepreneur, Adriaan Kamp, is the Director of Nyenrode Executive Energy Academy and the founder of Energy For One World, a consultancy company that focuses on global change, the environment, energy architecture and UN sustainable development.   Initially starting his career as an International Staff member of the Royal/Dutch Shell Group, Adriaan took the steps to become an authority figure on Oil and Gas. During this time, Adriaan undertook various management positions in Oman, Norway, Syria and Scotland. 

Adriaan is the Director of Nyenrode Executive Energy Academy at the Nyenrode Business University. This role came out of his passion to create a new-styled Executive Energy Training programme that blended world-class academic thinking on Strategy, Execution and Organizational Change with practitioners and politicians from the energy value chain. Not only this, but Adriaan committed himself to work with the UN to develop up-and coming sustainable development programmes.

He went on to present his programmes at Prof Jeffrey Sachs first and early UN SDSN global working conferences at Columbia University, as well as being invited to hold special college classes at Trinity College in Ireland. As the founder of Energy For One World, Adriaan’s vision was to encourage international change within the energy industry towards the next level of sustainability. To do this, his aim was to blend global needs with local possibility thinking, building bridges between the conventional energy industry with clean-tech.

With over 25 years in international project and business development management positions, Adriaan has experienced the business industry from different cultures and climates. As a result of this, he is able to provide expert knowledge from a number of different viewpoints. At present, Adriaan consults and speaks on a frequent basis. He has discussed global issues, such as Global Change and Leadership, UN Sustainable Development, World Energy, Energy Architectures and Transition, Business Strategies and Opportunities, Change and Innovation, CSR/ Sustainability and Servant Leadership.
