Embarking on her music career in the late 1990’s Heidi Range began by unsuccessfully auditioning for the band Scooch, galvanized by the rejection Range formed Atomic Kitten with fellow solo artists and would-be singers Liz Maclarnon and Kerry Katona and helped the band establish its own identity recording demos and performing around the UK.
Hoping to create a different and more unusual musical style Heidi left Atomic Kitten before the band broke into the charts and joined the already established pop-R&B music act, Sugababes, following the departure of Siobhán Donaghy and achieved a UK number 1 single with the new line-up’s first release. Together, The Sugababes would go on to achieve two multi-platinum albums and numerous UK and European top ten singles. In 2011, Sugarbabes disbanded, and Heidi Range started her career as a TV personality.
One of Heidi Range’s most notable TV appearances was on the popular ITV1 Series Dancing On Ice, Heidi has also appeared on other shows like Celebrity Chief. Heidi Range can also be seen as of 2016 in the west end musical The War of the Worlds playing a lead role as Beth.
After more than ten years with the group Heidi Range has gone on to work as an actress, solo artist, and TV personality, she has appeared on two reality TV series to date and currently appears in a singing and acting role for a popular British theatre performance of the television series Happy Days.
