Sebastian Sheppard

Sebastian Sheppard is a strategic advisor, business transformation expert, and a former senior leader of a leading F1 team. With nearly two decades of experience in high-pressure, high-performance environments, Seb delivers inspiring talks on cultivating efficient and successful teams, all the while ensuring individuals stay motivated, focused, and performing to their highest degree.  

Born in Chile, Seb began his career in the Royal Navy as a helicopter pilot, also serving in both the Spanish and Chilean navies. Here, he developed key skills in leadership, resilience, and critical thinking. After 16 years of service, Seb moved into Aerospace Logistics at UTi Worldwide before working as A400M Programme Manager with SONACA. Following this short stint, he became involved in programme management with Airbus. He then took his first step into F1, serving as Programme Manager of Special Projects with Altran for the Lotus F1 Team. The following year, he officially joined Altran as a Key Account Manager. Working his way up the ranks, Seb exited the business as Head of Transformation, Organisation and Integration for Northern Europe. From 2019, Seb was the Engineering Manager at Alpine Formula One, leading over 150 engineers to deliver time-sensitive designs and engineering of current and future racing cars. Today, he is a member of the board of advisors for GTS Group and is the Director of Seb Shepphard High Performance Consulting. 

Alongside his professional career, Seb is also a public speaker, having spoken at the 10^th and 11^th Merger Integration Management Forum at Thought Leader Global. Since 2025, he has been a speaker for Young Lives vs Cancer, a visiting lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Edinburgh and Oxford, as well as a mentor for the African Leadership Academy.
