Feeder are one of Britain's most successful rock bands, renowned for their anthemic sound, energetic live performances and enduring influence on alternative rock. Formed in Newport, Wales, in 1994 by frontman Grant Nicholas and drummer Jon Lee, the band have enjoyed a career spanning more than three decades, selling millions of records and producing some of the genre's best-loved songs, including 'Buck Rogers', 'Just a Day', 'Feeling a Moment' and 'High'. With multiple platinum-certified albums, headline festival appearances and a reputation as an outstanding live act, Feeder are regularly hired to headline festivals, perform at corporate events and deliver unforgettable private concerts.
Originally formed after Grant Nicholas and Jon Lee met while playing in different bands, Feeder signed with The Echo Label and released their debut album Polythene in 1997. They quickly established themselves as one of the UK's leading alternative rock acts, with follow-up albums Yesterday Went Too Soon and Echo Park achieving widespread commercial success. Echo Park propelled the band into the mainstream thanks to the hit singles 'Buck Rogers', 'Seven Days in the Sun' and 'Just a Day'. Following the tragic death of Jon Lee in 2002, Grant chose to continue Feeder, with Mark Richardson later joining as drummer. The band went on to release critically acclaimed albums Comfort in Sound and Pushing the Senses, demonstrating remarkable resilience while continuing to evolve musically. Their catalogue now includes numerous UK Top 10 albums and a loyal international fanbase.
Feeder have continued to enjoy chart success well into their fourth decade. Their albums Torpedo and Black/Red both reached No. 1 on the Official Record Store Chart, while the band continue to tour extensively across the UK and internationally. In recognition of their contribution to British rock music, Feeder were inducted into the Kerrang! Hall of Fame in 2019. They have also performed at many of the world's biggest rock festivals, including headlining Download Festival in 2005 and appearing at Reading and Leeds Festival, Isle of Wight Festival and countless international events, cementing their reputation as one of the UK's most respected live bands.
Feeder are renowned for delivering powerful, high-energy live performances that showcase the depth of their catalogue and decades of touring experience.
