Enrique Cedeño Martínez

Enrique Cedeño Martínez is a former professional Spanish League of Legends player and eSports icon. Enrique played as his online alter ago ‘xPeke’, and is now the owner of a successful team, Origen.

As a member of team Fnatic, Enrique competed in the League of Legends Championship Tournament Europe in 2013, the first of it’s kind. The team won the competition and Enrique shot to fame as a talented player after the Spring and Summer Split wins. The success continued into 2014 where the team came first in the Spring Split once again. At the World Championship, Enrique led his team to victory and secured top spot. In 2014 Enrique left Fnatic to be the founder of a new team, Origen. With Enrique as the manager and midlaner, Origen won the Europe Challenger Series Title and he personally had the highest creep score of any player in the series.

Enrique’s career started whilst the professional League was still being developed. He mainly played to gain experience in his position as a top laner. In 2011 he became a member of myRevenge. The team has success in the year Enrique joined at the Intel Extream Masters Season V, where they came first. Later that year he transitioned to Fnatic, where he made his mark as one of the world’s best League of Legends Players.

Prior to his professional retirement in 2015, Enrique was recognised with a number of awards. At the Global Challenge Katowice, he was announced as the Most Valued Player in the IEM Season VII. In the Season 3 European Regionals, he was also awarded the Most Valued Player title, a testament to his hard work individually and within his team. Enrique has also been praised since his retirement for the continued success of Team Orgien with him as a coach.
