Oliver Whitfield-Miocic is a highly professional presenter, correspondent, programme editor and producer who has held roles within BBC News and Sky News. Oliver graduated with a BA in Broadcast Journalism from Nottingham Trent University in 2008, where he developed the skills and knowledge that would underpin his career in international news. Later in his career, he served as a Freelance Programme Editor, Shoot-Editor and Reporter for a variety of well-known networks such as ABC News, Channel 7 News, SBS World News, Sky News (UK), SABC and TRT World. In 2018, he became a Correspondent for Feature Story News and set up their Seoul bureau from scratch. In this role, he also reported on major historical moments such as the meeting of Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump. Oliver later joined EuroNews as a News Presenter and Correspondent, delivering an hour-long evening programme to viewers.
Oliver's later roles include serving as an Audiovisual Production Lecturer for EFAP University in Lyon, France, where he taught MBA students and devised the course syllabus. In 2022, he moved to News UK and became the Network correspondent for Times Radio, Talk Sport, TalkTV and Virgin Radio. He also launched a new digital documentary series titled ‘Real Britannia’ which accumulated over 16 million views. After joining BBC News as a Correspondent in 2024, Oliver moved to Sky News, where he now delivers exclusive multi-platform reporting across television, digital, social media and radio for Independent Radio News (IRN).
