Clodagh Griffin is a social media expert, presenter, keynote speaker, News Movement journalist. She is passionate about using social media to communicate and is as confident in-front of camera as she is behind it specialising as both a keynote speaker and with editing software. Clodagh’s first involvement with the TV industry came in 2014 where, following a 3-week work experience, she was asked back to TV3 which is now Virgin Media One to aid the production of a quiz show. She helped with sound testing and ensuring the comfort of contestants. Clodagh has both a BA in Psychology as well as an MA in Television Journalism aiding her passion for the industry with academic knowledge. Whilst studying for her Master’s Degree, Clodagh contributed to Goldsmith’s website EastLondonLines as a Multimedia Journalist. In addition to this, during the pandemic, Clodagh tried her hand at radio, co-hosting an entertainment chat show on QuarantineFM called ‘Sunday Tea’
A major achievement in Clodagh’s career so far is her appearance on BBC Panorama: Is TikTok Safe? Working with Hardcash Productions for which she completed an undercover investigation into the safety of TikTok and shared her findings on the show. She demonstrated her expertise with social media when she managed Yahoo! UK’s TikTok account which was a great success delivering 70k followers, over 2M likes and multiple viral videos though the creation and distribution of content. Currently, Clodagh is a Journalist at The News Movement alongside running her own social media channels having built an engaged audience of her own using her energetic and fast-paced videos where she talks about current affairs and trending topics.
