Steph Davis is an incredible woman who’s proud to have become a symbol for women in climbing and BASE jumping alike. Living and breathing the craft, she takes every day in her stride and strives to make the most of her surroundings. Whether she’s doing so from her humble home in the southeast desert of Utah or from the peak of El Capitan, Steph believes that life is best lived moment to moment. For 25 years she’s been accumulating all sorts of climbing achievements, and she’s shared many of them through her TEDx Boulder talks and her two wonderful memoirs – “High Infatuation” and “Learning to Fly”.
Surprisingly, Steph’s journey didn’t begin with climbing. Quite the opposite; she started out as a classically trained pianist with a Master’s degree in literature. However, it was when she started law school that she decided to change gears and pursue climbing full time. Since making this pivotal decision, Steph has become one of the most successful climbers in the world, with many of her adventures recorded on her blog “stephdavis.co”. Partnered with becoming the Owner of Climb2Fly Productions in Utah, Steph has become synonymous with record-breaking climbing and BASE jumping.
For over three decades, Steph has been consistently impressing the climbing scene with her solo adventures. Now, she stands as a fierce advocate for letting your inspiration influence you, and each of her talks centre around the idea of rising to meet any challenge that may come your way. Regardless of whether you’re one of the 25 Most Adventurous Women of the Past 25 Years, or just a regular person taking on the days as they come, not even the sky is the limit for what you can achieve.
Steph Davis truly is an icon when it comes to climbing and BASE jumping. Her unique perspective on how to overcome life’s toughest battles makes her a motivational speaker whose repertoire of accomplishments stand as a testament to her adventurous spirit. Steph doesn’t just talk – she inspires. If your event could use a little of Steph’s captivating energy, hire her today! She’ll be sure to ignite a fire in you that’ll keep burning long after meeting her.

"Steph did an outstanding job in presenting the closing keynote talk at our annual conference. Her story of accomplishment is truly spectacular and captivating. Steph tied her story of overcoming fear and pushing the limits to the obstacles my industry is facing, giving the audience a truly inspirational message. Her storytelling kept the audience on the edge of their seat, and her keynote ended our conference with a positive, aspirational note" - Andrew, Vice President Member, ElectriCities
"Steph Davis is a world class athlete, writer, speaker, and role model. Her achievements in the mountains and in the sky are jaw dropping amazing, bordering on inconceivable (to us mere mortals). Yet, she is approachable, humble, and honest, drawing audiences into her world, sharing her emotional journey as much as the visual spectacle, and inspiring people to achieve something greater than they thought possible. I highly recommend Steph as a speaker, presenter, and ambassador!" - Benjamin, CEO, Film Festival Flix
"Steph Davis' keynote presentation was extremely beneficial to our teachers and staff at our 2017 Opening Institute, and her inspirational message of embracing change is just what we needed to get our school year started! Her message of cultivating adaptivity is exactly what we are encouraging our teachers to do as they work with students to ensure learning. Many of our teachers commented on how much they enjoyed her story, and especially appreciated her illustrations of how her experiences in climbing parallel with teaching and working through struggles and challenges." - Cade , Superintendent, Sevier School District
"Steph Davis can make an audience laugh, gasp, and cry, all within the space of fifteen minutes. On stage, her personal experience of adventure, heartbreak and recovery becomes an inspiring meditation on risk, resilience and personal freedom. She helps people embrace their lives more fully. Everyone on our staff raved about her presentation: it was one of the most moving of the evening. Our audience loved her!" - Anne, Host of Public Radio International's "To the Best of Our Knowledge"
