Rob Deering is a talented and hilarious comedian and presenter. After touring the UK, Rob’s shows have achieved critical-acclaim and he has won a number of awards in recognition of his comedic genius. He performs a unique style of comedy- musical comedy. He is seen performing with his guitar and loop pedal, creating a number of rock and pop soundscapes which he interweaves with jokes and comedy.
Rob has appeared on numerous television programmes, entertaining the nation with his charismatic personality. His TV credits include Pointless Celebrities, Celebrity Eggheads, Celebrity Mastermind, The Weakest Link, Strictly: It Takes Two, Comedy Rocks With Jason Manford, Celebrity Juice, Out To Lunch, My Teenage Diary and The Panic Room. As well as TV, Rob is seen contributing to radio shows such as The Steve Lamacq Show.
Rob’s critically acclaimed comedy has entertained festival-goers up and down the country. He regularly performs at Edinburgh Fringe, as well as Udderbelly Festival, Kendal Calling, Green Man Festival, Camp Bestival, Lattitude, Machfest, V Festival and Towersy Festival. In addition, Rob frequently performs his late-night pop quiz based around music comedy whilst at festivals, something that has earned him a reputation as a unique comedian and highly-sort after by corporate events and comedy clubs. Rob has also taken his comedy worldwide, performing everywhere from the South of France to Melbourne, Shanghai and the Middle East.
In his spare time, Rob is also a prolific runner, having competed in numerous marathons up and down the country. He has his own podcast titled Running Commentary, presented with a fellow comedian named Paul Tonkinson. On the podcast, the pair talk about everything from life to running as well as interviewing celebrities, all of which is done whilst running! The Parkinsons Charity is also something that Rob is very passionate about, frequently raising money every way he possibly can for the charity. He is also the host of the Parkinson’s UK annual gig, titled Shake With Laughter hosted at the London Comedy Store.
