Josue Louis is an elite athlete, Olympian, 2x World Champion, 4x World Indoor Medallist and the current world record holder for the Men’s indoor 60m hurdles, having achieved a staggering time of 7.85 seconds. With deep expertise in consistent high performance, identity over strategy and the connection between belief and action, Josue prepares teams with the frameworks and actionable tools needed to start achieving their goals immediately.
Throughout the mid to late 2000s, whilst pursuing degrees in Sport, Tourism and Hospitality and African American Studies at Temple University, Josue competed consistently in multiple state and country championships. In the 2007-08 indoor season, he was Temple University’s top finisher in the high jump and won in the high jump and 60m hurdles at the Delaware Invitational. By the 2010 outdoor season, Josue had various first places from several invitational championships, including the Lou Onesty Invitational and the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet. In 2011, he became a professional decathlete representing the Republic of Haiti in track and field, competing in the high jump at the Pan American Games, a multi-sport event which acts as a qualifier for the Olympic Games. During his training for the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games, Josue was a Track and Field coach for Duke Athletics and Cerritos College before becoming a Brand Marketing Specialist and Boxing Coach at Gloveworx. Since 2017, has been sharing his wisdom as a leadership coach with MITT (Mastery In Transformational Training) and motivational speaker with his own organisation, Intent Fitness, inspiring the next generation of athletes to pursue excellence. Josue set his best time in the 110m hurdles the following year with 14.33 seconds, going on to smash the world record time for the 60m indoor hurdles in 2025. In 2026, he will represent Team USA at the World Masters Athletics Track and Field Championships in Daegu, South Korea.
His impressive career has enabled him to achieve four USATF Masters National Champion titles and to become the No. 1-ranked Masters 60m Hurdler in the world. Josue is also a Hall of Fame candidate at Temple University.
