Elisa Moscolin is a leading sustainability professional as the Executive Vice President of Sustainability at Sage. With a proven track record of achieving sustainable goals within global blue-chip organisations, Elisa uses her expertise and insight to advise senior-level boards and executive teams on successful ESG strategy and execution.
Beginning her career with Vodafone Group, Elisa progressed to the role of sustainability/CSR senior specialist before becoming Global Project Manager, where she embedded sustainability in the employer branding strategy. Moving to Vodafone’s affiliate brand in Kenya, Safaricom, Elisa served as the brand’s Sustainability and Social Innovation Manager, effectively integrating sustainability goals across 14 business divisions as well as the core business strategy. In 2017, she moved to Santander as the Head of Sustainability and ESG, leading the organisation’s transition from old-fashioned CSR to sustainability and designing a whole new ESG strategy. Elisa was also responsible for the bank’s Foundation, which she restructured with the help of the Board of Trustees. Since 2022, she has served as the Executive Vice President of Sustainability at Sage, establishing the brand’s sustainability function, setting the vision and strategy, and then leading the execution of it. She leads the Sage Foundation as well as the Sage Impact Entrepreneurship Programme, a multi-year initiative that supports entrepreneurs across the globe. Elisa has served on the Board of the Chartered Banker Institute as an independent trustee and is currently a visiting fellow at the University of Edinburgh Business School.
Thanks to her efforts at Sage, the company has earned an array of top-tier sustainability credentials, including CDP’s A rating, EcoVadis Gold (Top 5%), and recognition from FT, Time, and Newsweek. Elisa herself has been nominated for Corporate Sustainability Lead of the Year at the Women in Green Business Awards 2026 and recently spoke at Accenture and Sage’s How AI is Reshaping Sustainability roundtable.
A true pioneer in driving sustainable practices, Elisa is the perfect addition to a multitude of ESG and CSR events. With a passion for energising businesses in their adoption of sustainable principles, she emboldens audiences, boards, and executives to see things from a bolder perspective and dive headfirst into ensuring the successful execution of sustainability across the whole organisation.
