Multi award-winning Michelin star chef, Phil Howard has earned his reputation as a world class culinary expert, through decades of dedicated service. A restaurateur, and television chef, Phil is one of the most high-profile figures in the cooking industry, which he has influenced with his modern British style of food. At the helm of each establishment he has opened, Phil’s committed work has seen him receive numerous prestigious accolades, including AA Chef of the Year 2008, and become sought after for demonstrations and after dinner talks on his career.
First gaining prominence in 1991, Phil is the culinary mastermind behind The Square restaurant in London where he was responsible for its success for over 25 years. Developing innovative dishes that infused British cuisine with a modern flair saw Phil become one of the most talked about fine dining chefs and the elusive award of two Michelin stars. Phil held the stars for an unprecedented 17 years, a testament to the ever-evolving nature of his palette. Currently, Phil is a partner at five London restaurants and one in the alps, in addition to his role as a member of The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts.
Gaining his experience at the Roux Restaurants, Phil quickly progressed with a natural talent in the kitchen to be trained by none other than Marco Pierre White.
