Peter Crolla

Peter Crolla is the Director of Peter Crolla Automotive Limited and has been working with the Haas F1 team since 2015, being promoted to Team Manager in 2022. He has been working at the pinnacle of motorsports for numerous years and has truly established himself as a dedicated and highly collaborative team member. As a Team Manager, Peter is regularly liaising with the FIA on all sporting matters and is therefore a walking encyclopaedia of knowledge regarding the rules and regulations within F1. When hired as a speaker, Peter eloquently shares this knowledge with his audience and can give an insider's view into the world of Formula 1.

In 2002 Peter graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Motorsports Engineering & Management, and then complete a Bachelor of Engineering in Motorsports Operations from the University of Central Lancashire. Beginning his career in the world of motorsports as a Data Engineer for Team Dynamics Motorsport Ltd, Peter then went on to become a Race Engineer and a Team manager for Fortec Motorsport Limited. Peter then re-joined Team Dynamics Motorsport as a Team manager before then becoming the Team leader for McLaren Racing in his first role within Formula 1.

Peter then joined Haas F1 team as a Race Team Co-ordinator before then becoming Team Manager, Trackside Operations Manager, and then once again becoming their Team Manager. During his time with Haas, he played an integral role in establishing America’s first Formula 1 Team. With Peter as Team Manager, in 2018 the team rose from 8th to a very respectable 5th in the Constructors World Championship. In 2022 the team then went on to get their maiden pole at the Brazilian GP which was an incredible achievement for the small independent team.

Closely working alongside the Team Principal, Guenther Steiner, during the race weekend, Peter played an integral role within the team to ensure the team continues to improve. Peter also played a very important role in ensuring the team achieves its environmental sustainability goals, and achieving a Three-Star Environmental Accreditation.
