Stacey Dooley OBE has become one of the most iconic British documentary filmmakers, presenters and journalists. Tackling social issues that range from the political to the controversial Stacey wages war on societies major flaws.

Becoming the face of some of Britain’s most thought-provoking documentaries, Stacey has ensured her status as a leading luminary, helping to raise awareness of various delicate subjects found around the world.

Her incredible career with the BBC began when she featured as a participant on TV documentary, Blood, Sweat & T-shirts on BBC Three. The show followed Stacey and five other fashion consumers to live and work among Indian garment workers in India. It was nominated for the 2009 BAFTA Television Awards and soon Stacey was hot-property on screen.

After the success of the series, the BBC tied Stacey down to investigate a series of truths in the world we live in. Stacey Dooley Investigates has spanned 11 series so far between 2008 and 2018 and has included an array of themes and episodes from Kids with Guns and World’s Worst Place to be a Woman to Shot By My Neighbour and Face to Face with ISIS. She also presented six series of Show Me What You’re Made Of and two series of Stacey Dooley in the USA.

Her meeting with an ISIS soldier won her a One World Media Award in 2018 and the series became the Most-Watched Documentary on BBC iPlayer. Her services to broadcasting also earned her a place in the 2018 Birthday Honours, where she was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire. 2018 also saw Stacey take to the ballroom on the sixteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing.
