Simon Lazenby is a TV presenter and lead presenter of Formula One for Sky Sports Lazenby graduated from Durham University with a degree in Natural Sciences, whilst also having captained the college XV Rugby Union team. He began working for Sky Sports in 2002, where he was part of the coverage of live Rugby Union. He worked as part of the team which covered three British and Irish Lions tours.
Simon Lazenby is the lead presenter of Sky Sports Formula One coverage. Working alongside former drivers Martin Brundle and Damon Hill the channel has twice won International Broadcaster Of The Year since its inception in 2012.
Simon graduated from Durham University with a 2:1 degree in Natural Sciences. Then, at the age of 23, his TV career began as a runner at Sky Sports. He quickly became a reporter on Sky Sports BAFTA award winning Rugby Union coverage before taking over from Mark Durden-Smith as lead presenter from 2002 until 2011. During that period he was the frontman on two British and Irish Lions Tours, 10 Heineken Cup Finals and countless international matches from all around the world.
A keen all round sports interest has also allowed Simon to present England Test matches for Sky Sports Cricket coverage as well as European Tour Golf events, ATP tennis tournaments and the Poker Million. Over a 17-year career, Simon is one of the most experienced presenters at Sky Sports.
