Sarah Harding’s career has been one full of raging highs. She formed a part of one of pop music’s most famous girl groups, Girls Aloud back in 2002 on reality TV hit show, Popstars: The Rivals. Girls Aloud went on to rack up twenty consecutive top ten singles in the UK, including four number ones, cementing their status as one of the most successful girl groups and British exports. The supergroup also enjoyed six platinum albums, five Brit Award nominations and a Brit Award during their assault at the top of the charts in the 2000s.
Sarah went on to make her mark on the big screen following the bands break in 2009. She appeared in Run for Your Wife, Freefall and St Trinian’s: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold.
2012 saw the hotly-anticipated return of Girls Aloud, upon their tenth anniversary. They released new single, Something New for Children in Need, along with a greatest hits album, before embarking on a brief tour of the UK. After Ten: The Hits Tour the group continued their solo pursuits. These included a stint on Coronation Street, a solo album, Threads, an appearance on The Jump and a tour with Ghost The Musical.
By 2017, Sarah found herself entering the Celebrity Big Brother House as part of the penultimate show. She managed to win 35.33% of the vote in the finale to take home the coveted top spot and win Celebrity Big Brother 2017. With another album in the pipeline and touring once more, Sarah is enjoying another spell in the limelight. She has become a popular entertainer and solo vocalist for charity and corporate events alike.
