Mark McQuillan


Mark McQuillan is a presenter and journalist with more than a decade’s worth of experience in the industry. He can currently be seen reporting and presenting for ITV Regional and National News. It was at LBC Radio where Mark’s talented for presenting was first realised and soon he was scouted out as a new host for Setanta Sports News, thus making his first foray into television.

He led the rolling coverage of the sports channel, reported breaking news and conducted live interviews on sporting stories. Later Mark made the move to ITV News, fronting the Channel Islands’ coverage as their chief anchor. It was there that Mark developed his expertise for hosting events including White Collar Boxing, the annual Channel Islands Sports Awards, charity dinners and the opening ceremony of the Island Games, an international sporting competition which attracts thousands of elite athletes.

In the autumn of 2017 Mark moved into Freelance and has taken up various roles as a reporter and presenter. He has featured as a reporter for ITV News and 5 News as well as worked as a presenter for ITV Regional News and the sports coverage on Sky News. Mark’s confident, warm and professional approach makes him an outstanding event host with great versatility. He is able to provide entertaining speeches and tie your award ceremony, conference or corporate occasion together with his signature charisma.
