Among the longest-serving active presenters at the BBC, Garry Richardson has been host of the Today show on BBC Radio 4 for 37 out of the 43 years he has been with the BBC. He also presented Sportweek on Sunday morning for 20 years until 2019.

Beginning BBC life as a tea boy prior to 1981, Garry built his career from the ground up, quickly establishing himself as a sports reporter on Today. Garry presented his final episode of Sportsweek in September 2019, after 850 episodes to his name and over 20 years as host of the show. He continues to present Today, making him one of the longest-serving presenters in the history of the BBC.
