Sports TV presenter and documentary film maker Gabriel Clarke is known for his long career as one of the sporting reporters for ITV; joining the broadcaster in 1991 Clarke has worked as a television and radio presenter for the company for more than twenty years and garnered a number of awards for his reports.
Working as a specialist sports TV presenter Gabriel Clarke has provided coverage of European Championships, World Cups, Rugby World Cups, The Boat Race and World Championship boxing. His work as a TV presenter has led to him receiving no less than three Royal Television Society awards for Sports News Reporter of the Year, not to mention two Sports Feature and one Sports Creative Sequence awards.
Outside his work as a television and radio presenter Gabriel Clarke is also a well-respected documentary film maker and has worked on a number of documentaries as both writer and director. In 2011 his documentary The Fight of Their Lives was nominated for a BAFTA award for Best Single Documentary. Gabriel Clarke is the son of renowned British film maker the late Alan Clarke.
