Emma Jesson

Emma Jesson is a familiar and popular face of ITV Weather. She currently presents for the North of England and the Midlands – ITV Granada, Central, Border, Tyne Tees and Yorkshire regions – occasionally also seen south of Watford Gap – as well as opting into Good Morning Britain.

Frequently recognised for her chirpy ‘Bye Bye’ sign-off, she originally trained to be a vet, but side-stepped into TV in her year off. Emma has carved out a strong corporate niche for herself hosting award ceremonies for clients such as The Law Society, NHS and the British Chambers of Commerce as well as various charitable events and light-hearted ladies’ nights.

Many clients book her regularly year-on-year to present their awards and dinners – locations like the NEC, Grosvenor House, Ricoh, ICC, O2 Arena as well as more intimate venues. She is as happy hosting a dinner for 80 guests, as chairing a conference for 6000 – comfortable in any company and all surroundings.

She recently hosted for the NHS at the House of Lords, as well as co-hosting a royal visit to the Midlands. Emma is also an accomplished Media Trainer and, as well as fronting corporate videos, you’ve probably heard her voice on radio and TV ads across the country.

Emma is very proud to be the ladies’ ambassador for Heat Holders thermal products and happy to represent a product she truly believes in. Sadly she has had to turn down the offer of panto again this year, but there’s plenty of time for that. Away from the day job she is very much a family girl, enjoys dinner and a musical, sailing, windsurfing and scuba, languages, comedy and cooking… and – when there’s time – sleeping.

See what people had to say about Emma, when she appeared at their corporate events:

“Year after year, Emma continues to deliver beyond expectations. The last awards evening was a great success and Emma must take much of the credit.  She was an excellent presenter and interacted really well on stage with Paddy Ashdown.  She did a first class job and really held the event together” –  The Law Society

“I thought Emma was excellent!  She was well prepared, engaged with the guests, circulated around the tables and stayed chatting and doing photo’s after the awards had finished and during the actual ceremony was professional and held the attention of the guests” Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
