Charlie Dimmock is best known for presenting a range of gardening-themed television programmes across the screens of British television, having forged a successful career as a celebrity gardener. Charlie has always been passionate about gardening, helping her grandparents in the garden and participating in classes and clubs as a teenager. After obtaining a BTEC Diploma in Amenity Horticulture, Charlie has pursued a career as a gardener originally joining Romsey Garden Centre and training at the Chelsea Psychic Garden. Whilst working at the Romsey Garden Centre, Charlie met John Thornicroft. A television producer, John was the mastermind behind the BBC gardening series Ground Force. After impressing John with her talent and passion for gardening, Charlie was recruited as one of the Co-Presenters of Ground Force, which she presented for eight years. Earning a popular reputation for presenting, Charlie has since gone on to be the Presenter of The Joy Of Gardening, Charlie’s Garden Army and Garden Rescue. Outside of gardening, Charlie has also appeared on a range of other shows. She has appeared in Channel 4’s The Games, the BBC’s Celebrity Masterchef and Daybreak. Continually impressing fans with her knowledge of gardening, Charlie has also been invited to host a section on The Early Show, taking her fan base globally to America. She has also presented the likes of River Walks, The Great British Garden Revival and live coverage of The Chelsea Flower Show.

Alongside her presenting, Charlie has also been fortunate to release a range of gardening books. Her publications include Container Gardening, Enjoy Your Garden and Water Garden Workbook. Charlie has also dedicated time to performing in pantomimes, such as Jack and The Beanstalk, and has worked with Poundland to release her range of products called In The Garden. Charlie is also a passionate supporter of charities, having completed the Macmillan 4x4 UK Challenge and worked with Dreamflight to help seriously ill children on holiday.
