Ex-glamour model turned self-help life coach Tanya Bardsley is no stranger to hard work. Life in the spotlight started for Tanya when she burst onto the scene as a glamour model. After many years in the limelight modelling, she met her husband Phil Bardsley and her career took a detour to TV.
Her star-studded history includes many features on TV programmes. She began with presenting two programmes on Sky One, Gamenation and ,cite>Strike. Since then she has gone on to feature in a small French comedy called Double Zero, and Celebrity Fear Factor. Loose Women and ,cite>This Morning have also been host to her bubbly and fun-loving persona.
Tanya is now a regular on ITVBe reality show The Real Housewives Of Cheshire. This programme documents the lifestyle of several glamorous housewives that live in Cheshire. After starting this show in 2015, Tanya has continually been given opportunities to share her talent and personality with the public. In 2019 she had a part in Celebs On The Ranch, a show about celebrities learning how to be cowboys, and Hey Tracey! where contestants need to get answers to quiz questions all through making cold calls to businesses
In 2014 Tanya wrote her book A Girl Who Got Everything, a self-help book that gives readers all the answers to getting the life that they want and the actions to implement success. After struggling with depression, Tanya wanted to find a way to help others in the same situation as herself. After exploring and researching self-help for 10 years, Tanya decided to adopt the role of a life coach with the end goal of helping others. In 2015 she set up her own jewellery range to work in partnership with her self-help book. The aim of the line is to give wearers a reminder that if they work hard and pursue their dreams they will become a reality.
Tanya also supports many charities in her spare time. Her husband and herself in particular love to support the Cardiac Risk In The Young charity, who aim to reduce the amount of sudden cardiac deaths. They aim to do this by using heart screening programmes and medical research. Tanya supported the charity’s Christmas in Hollywood Ball. As well as charity work, Tanya also likes to help others herself. She held a positivity seminar in 2019 to help others who have battled with depression like herself.
