Controversial cheeky-cap Stephen Bear, known as ‘Bear’, is a reality TV personality. Best known for his appearance on E4’s TV show Shipwrecked in 2011, MTV reality TV show Ex on the Beach in 2015/2016 and Channel 5’s eighteenth series of reality game show Celebrity Big Brother, which he won in 2016. Born 15 January 1990 in Walthamstow, London, and trained as a roofer before his rise to fame.
Most current TV appearances include MTV’s The Challenge: War of the Worlds, E4’s Celebs Go Dating, Channel 4’s Celebrity Psych Test and E4’s Body Fixers. He has also made appearances on popular daytime TV shows such as Loose Women and This Morning. After his success on Celebrity Big Brother and various television appearances, Bear’s popularity has rapidly increased. Currently, he has over 1.7 million followers on Instagram.
Bear has had various relationships/affiliations with a number of other reality TV stars that have captured the public’s attention. Notably, his relationship with Charlotte Crosby and subsequent messy breakup. Other reality stars Bear has been affiliated with consist of The Only way Is Essex’s Megan McKenna, Geordie Shore‘s Vicky Pattison, Charlotte Dawson daughter of comedian Les Dawson, and fellow CBB contestant Chloe Khan.
In 2017, Bear was offered the opportunity to co-present alongside Charlotte Crosby on his own TV show, called Just Tattoo of Us on MTV, which aired in April that year. However, it was announced that Bear would not be returning to present series 2 of the TV show, and Geordie Shore’s Scotty T was asked to take his place beside Charlotte Crosby.
Bear has also had relative business and merchandising success, having released his own calendar in 2016, and joint partnership clothing brand with previous girlfriend Charlotte Crosby in 2017. The clothing business, called His and Hers Enterprise Ltd, retails in couples merchandise, such as jumpers, bags and phone cases. However, after the breakup of Charlotte and Bear, there was legal disputes over the future of the company.
