Ed Baines is a British celebrity chef whose career began in the late 1990’s when he was still in his early 20’s and who is probably best known for his good looks and work as a TV chef and judge on Britain’s Best Dish.
He has acted as an event host on numerous television cookery programmes including Ready Steady Cook, Lunch with Ed Baines and Sunday Feast. He has appeared as a guest celebrity chef on several programmes and has cooked for other famous names and notable celebrities. Outside his work as a TV chef Baines owns a number of restaurants including Randall & Aubin and Daphne’s in the upmarket London district of South Kensington.
As well as his work as a TV chef Ed Baines has published various cookery books including the titles Entertain and Best of British; in 2001 and 2009 respectively.
Baines is a recurring series and event host for UKTV’s Good Food Channel and has appeared as a celebrity chef in several of their shows including Great Food Live and Cupid’s Dinners. Baines has been called one of the hottest celebrity chefs working the TV chef circuit; his recipes are popular and bang on trend, whilst his restaurants include some of the most exclusive eateries in London.
