Laura Kenny is Great Britain's most successful female Olympian ever. The British track and road cyclist specialises in the team pursuit, scratch race, omnium and madison disciplines. Laura's services to cycling have seen her awarded In 2013 with Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) and then in 2017, she was named Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). In 2022 she was named a Dame in the New Year's Honour List. She received an Honorary Degree from the University of Essex in 2013. In March 2024, Laura announced that she would be retiring from professional cycling, finishing her incredible sporting career with five Olympic Gold medals, seven World Champion titles and 14 European Champion titles.
