Since leaving the pitch entirely, Hunter has become a regular football speaker and has even featured on BBC Radio Leeds and Yorkshire Radio to comment on Leeds United in action. He has also released an autobiography, Biting Talk in 2004 and has helped to teach younger people to play football at various primary schools in Leeds.
