Fraser Forster

Southampton & England Goalkeeper

English football speaker and former Celtic goalkeeper, Fraser Forster has been playing professionally since 2006 when he graduated from Newcastle United’s Youth Team to the professional league. Forster stayed with Newcastle for six years until he was purchased by Celtic in 2012.

Whilst working as a football speaker and goalie for Newcastle, Forster generally played in the reserves, standing in on occasion for the team’s first choice goal keeper Tim Krul whilst he was elsewhere on loan. Beginning in 2008, Fraser Forster went out on loan himself, making appearances as the goalie and sports speaker for Stockport County, Bristol Rovers and Norwich City.

One of the most successful English players in Celtic’s history Fraser Forster made his first appearance for the club in 2010 whilst on loan to the Scottish team, subsequently helping them win the 2010/’11 Scottish Cup. Whilst at Celtic Fraser frequently worked as a football speaker, attending club events as well as speaking at national after dinner speaker events where he would discuss what it was like to be an English player on a Scottish team. Forster currently holds the Scottish Premiership record of 1,256 minutes without conceding a single goal.

In the summer of 2014, Fraser Forster signed for Southampton and was, earlier that year, picked by England coach Roy Hodgson as part of the 2014 FIFA World Cup squad; despite travelling to Brazil, Forster did not feature in any of the World Cup games. Boasting three Scottish Premiership winning appearances and two Scottish Cups, Fraser Forster continues to work as an after dinner speaker in both England and Scotland and is available for both sporting and corporate events.
