TV presenter, photographer, journalist and musician Johny Pitts is a British television personality known for his work as the leading TV presenter for Escape from Scorpion Island, Roar and All Over the Place. Alongside his work as a television and radio presenter Pitts is an acclaimed solo artist and poet and has performed at some of the best clubs in the UK including the Albany Theatre, the Jazz Café, the Big Chill Festival, Notting Hill Arts Club and the Soho Theatre.
Outside his work as a TV presenter Johny Pitts has published both fiction and journalistically, his writing has appeared in Blues & Soul magazine, Straight No Chaser & the Observe whilst his short story Audience won the Decibel Penguin Prize and was published in the Penguin Anthology the Map of Me.
As a television and radio presenter Johny Pitts specializes in music television and has appeared on MTV and CDUK and has worked along a number of other well-respected music based TV presenters including Lauren Laverne and Mylene Klass. He is also an established musician and solo artist and his work with the band Bare Knuckle Soul collective has been praised by Giles Peterson, Zane Lowe and Trevor Nelson, as well as appearing on the Norman Jay Good Times 7 compilation.
