Sir Clive Woodward OBE shares tales of World Cup 2003 at Drayton Manor annual charity ball

Clive Woodward

Sir Clive Woodward OBE, England’s finest rugby union coach of all time, was the guest speaker at Drayton Manor’s annual sporting lunch on Monday 7 December 2015.

Guests were treated to a five-course meal at the event, which raised money for a number of charities including JDRF, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Kids Out.

Clive wrote himself into rugby folklore when he led England to the 2003 World Cup after beating Australia 20-17 in the final – on their own turf.

The compelling accounts of his time coaching the greatest rugby team of the northern hemisphere provided invaluable advice for businesses and social groups alike at the event.
