Who is Ranulph Fiennes?
As an explorer, Ranulph has crossed thousands of miles, through blistering heat and freezing temperatures. He even lost fingers due to severe frostbite in 2000, a testament to his endurance. As the only living person to have travelled the globe’s circumpolar surface, he has witnessed Earth’s beauty first-hand – in doing so, Ranulph has also experienced a diverse range of dangerous conditions.
Starting in the 1960s, he has led expeditions across the globe, from the Nile to Norway. This record-breaking explorer is regarded as one of the bravest, most determined adventurers on the planet, whose ongoing commitment to exploration has raised a total of £14 million for charity.
