From that point on the band continued to perform to an exceptional standard and ultimately won the competition. After winning, Collabro secured a record deal with Simon Cowell’s label SYCO Music. He went on to perform two UK sell-out tours, at the Royal Variety Show and even in front of 30 million people on Japanese TV!
After celebrating the 10th anniversary of Britain’s Got Talent, Richard performed one last time with the band before deciding to leave and focus on his own career opportunities. Returning to his original love for the music of jazz, Richard was fortunate to secure a position performing at Dean Street Live Jazz and has since performed internationally as a solo artist.
