English singer, songwriter and model, Samantha Fox is best known for her best-selling single Touch Me. As a cultural icon of the 1980s, Fox has established herself as a household name within both the music and modelling industry and is now entering the after-dinner circuit as a highly sought after entertainer.
With her passion for theatre and music budding from the early age of three, Fox formed her own pop band as an early adolescent. At the age of 15, she joined Anna Scher Theatre and signed with Lamborghini Records only in the following year. Fox was suddenly thrown into the modelling career when her mother sent through her portfolio to The Sun. She became one of the most photographed British women of her era along with Princess Diana and Margaret Thatcher before returning to her desired music career at the age of 20.
With a newfound fanbase, Fox’s music proved to be extremely popular. She released her debut single, Touch Me in 1986 which managed to collect platinum, gold and silver awards. Following on from this, she released Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me) along with her debut album Touch Me. With three singles topping the UK and 14 other countries charts, it comes as no surprise that she managed to sell over 30 million records internationally.
Samantha has also become a huge name in the film industry. She has starred in It’s Been Real, The Match and Rock Dancer alongside the likes of Pierce Brosnan, John Altman and Isla Blair. On TV, she has made appearances on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Come Dine With Me.
Most recently, Fox has released a new single. She continues to entertain the globe with beautiful vocals and familiar 80s sound and has released her 10th studio album, MOA Season 1. She has also starred in the horror movie, Seven Cases and has devoted a lot of her time to charitable causes. As an openly gay icon, Fox has shown her support for the LGBT+ community by appearing in an Albert Kennedy Trust campaign. She has also sold various iconic outfits on to charity auctions in the bid to raise money for charity.
Combining Samantha Fox’s incredible vocals with her loveable and charismatic personality makes for event entertainment that is going to make your night unforgettable. Her fun and nostalgic style of performance makes her ideal for a whole range of age groups and audience types making her a guaranteed hit at any event.
