FORMER MEMBER OF BOY BAND JLS WHO WENT ON TO HAVE FIVE NUMBER-ONE SINGLES AND SOLD OVER 10 MILLION RECORDS WORLDWIDE

JB Gill is a highly acclaimed singer and media personality. As a former member of the internationally renowned boyband, JLS, JB has amassed a huge fan base and showcased his talents to millions of people worldwide. Having enjoyed global stardom as part of the UK’s biggest boyband, JB is now a regular TV presenter and entertainer with interests in farming.

Having discovered his musical potential from a young age, Gill studied at The Centre for Young Musicians where he was part of the school choir. He befriended his future bandmates of JLS in 2007 when he entered The X Factor as a solo act, he became unsuccessful in the competition and returned to King’s College London to continue to read for theology. He was later contacted by Oritse who asked if he wanted to join a boyband called UFO, the band later became JLS and auditioned together in the 2008 series of The X Factor.

Even though the boys came second place of the reality singing show, JLS still became one of the biggest acts to come from The X Factor. They signed a record deal with Epic Records and dominated the charts with four incredibly catchy albums. They announced their split in 2013 and ventured down separate paths as individuals.

Now with over 130 thousand followers on Twitter, JB Gill is using his platform to educate young people on the origins of their food. As the lead presenter of children’s television programme Down On The Farm, JB has revealed his secret passion and knowledge for farming whilst helping to highlight the day-to-day duties of farmers. JB is also a regular reporter for BBC’s Countryfile and Springwatch as well as an owner of his own turkey farm in Kent.

Gill is now an established TV presenter and is regularly called upon to host shows such as Springtime On The Farm, Big Week At The Zoo, BBC’s Songs of Praise and Walks Of Life. He has been named the first ambassador for the Mayor’s Fund for London as well as the ambassador for charitable organisations including The British Red Cross and Mercy Ships.
