A popular British actress, solo artist and media personality, who came to national prominence as a 10 year old on Byker Grove, Donna Air has since appeared on an array of TV programmes and toured worldwide with pop duo, Crush. After her early acting career, she would join up with Byker Grove co-star, Jayni Hoy to form Crush. The pop act released album, Teenage Kicks in 1996 which went to number one in Japan. They would have hit singles with Jellyhead, Luv’d Up and toured the US, Japan and South East Asia.

She has also featured in films including The Mummy Returns and Bad Day.
Together with her time in broadcast, Donna created children’s clothing collection, Markus and Donna alongside catwalk extraordinaire, Markus Lupfer. The range was exhibited in Debenhams‘ stores around the country. Her experience in the world of fashion also landed her the role of Style Editor at Hello Magazine. In 2017, she appeared on the Dancing on Ice stage, finishing a highly-respectable sixth place on the show, as she danced with Mark Hanretty.
