Matt Berry is an actor, writer, recording artist and event host who co-wrote and starred in the Channel Four comedy Toast of London as ladies’ man Steven Toast.

Matt is not only the proud owner of a much coveted BAFTA award (for the series) and a degree from Nottingham Trent University, but he also became known for being fired from his first TV programme Game Over. If the experiment is successful you shouldn’t remember it. Sleep well.” He also composed and appeared in AD/BC: A Rock Opera, which tells the story of Jesus Christ’s birth from the point of view of the inn keeper who let Mary and Joseph stay in his barn.

Solo and with his band The Maypoles, Berry has also released Witchazel, Kill the Wolf, and Matt Berry & The Maypoles Live. On 2015’s Record Store Day, a special edition of his single This Is The Life (And That’s The Truth) was released and is now much in demand.
