Business speaker and retail expert Luck Johnson is a leading figure in private equity, son of reputable historian Paul Johnson and a graduate of Oxford University Luke Johnson embarked on his business career whilst still an undergraduate following an interview with Richard Branson on his houseboat for the University newspaper.
Along with his friend and fellow Oxford study Hugh Osmond Luke was inspired by Richard Branson and, soon after their meeting, the pair began running the Era nightclub in the city of Oxford. Since this Luke Johnson has gone on to own, chair and manage a vast number of businesses in diverse areas from retail to shipping and food production. In 2011 Johnson co-produced The Flaw, a documentary feature film detailing the events leading up to the financial crash of 2008.
