Political campaigner, entrepreneur and campaigner Samuel Kasumu is the founder of Elevation Networks, a social enterprise that tackles graduate and youth unemployment. Samuel has won the UK Young Star of Enterprise, awarded by the CBI and Real Business Magazine, as well as the 2011 Barclays Business Enterprise Award. Samuel chairs the largest debate tour of universities in the UK whilst sitting on the influential Tory Reform Group’s management board.
Samuel’s writing has featured in The Guardian, New Statesman and Conservative Home, he is also a regular columnist for Nigerian Watch. In 2012, Samuel launched his first book Winning The Race. In it he criticised the lack of action by the Conservative Party to appeal to ethnic minorities.
