Beloved TV presenter Dermot O’Leary is best known for the several years he spent as the TV host for the Big Brother companion show, Big Brother’s Little Brother, and more recently for his work on the ITV talent series the X Factor.

Popular with audience’s all over the country Dermot became known as the TV presenter eye candy for British mums; he is known for supporting and talking to the distressed and jubilant contestants of the X Factor moments after they walk off stage. His caring and amiable personality have helped to make Dermot a household name and one of the most easily recognizable TV presenters on British TV.

Outside his work as the TV presenter Dermot hosts his own radio show; cutting his teeth as a radio presenter on XFM he now hosts his own Saturday afternoon show on BBC Radio 2. Dermot’s show has been consistently successful and in both 2008 and 2010 his work as a radio presenter was recognized when he was awarded the Best Music Programme award at the Sony Radio Awards.

More recently Dermot has acted as the TV host for the prominent entertainment award ceremony, the National Television Awards. Beyond his work as a TV presenter Dermot O’Leary is an avid supporter of Arsenal Football Club, he also enjoys fishing and surfing.
