The best known as the most recognisable master of World Darts, Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor is the best darts player to have ever graced the oche. A dominating star of the sport from the start of his career, Phil was the protege of World Champion Eric Bristow, before becoming a worldwide success in his own right. With a career that spanned three decades, Phil has won 214 professional tournaments and 85 major titles, playing in competitions organised by both the British Darts Organisation (BDO) and the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC).

Phil has performed a televised 9 dart finish on nine occasions, with the most memorable being his double 9 dart finish against James Ward at the 2010 World Championships, a feat that has never been recreated again. A winner of sixteen World Darts Championships, Phil has achieved unparalleled success and will perhaps forever be recognised as the greatest darts player of all time.

By winning the 2006 World Championships, Phil became the first ever darts player to break through the £1,000,000 prize money ceiling, quite a change from earning £50 a week as a factory worker. Showing his true dominance in the sport in the process, as well as the unrelenting drive and determination to continuously perform, Phil proved what a lucrative career darts can be.
