Ben Stokes

Durham Cricketer

New Zealand born cricket speaker and player Ben Stokes is one of the rising stars of British sport; the son of a rugby league player and sports speaker Gerad Stokes, Ben made his first class debut in 2010 and, despite his young age, has already taken part in a number of major cricketing events including the Under 19 World Cup.

Stokes has been selected as part of the England cricket team on several occasions and his future looks set to be filled with even more appearances; he took part in the 2013-14 Ashes tournament against Australia and in his work as a cricket speaker has worked there, back in Britain and in his childhood home of New Zealand.

Whilst his professional career was still in its infancy Ben Stokes joined British team Durham, making centuries and half centuries against both Bangladesh and India, as a cricket speaker Ben gives audiences an insight into the world of youth cricket, discussing the training routines and team relationships. Ben works as a sports speaker at both Durham and England events and is often called the one to watch by media pundits and cricket speakers.
